The early 1800s, and Mary Anning digs up dinosaur bones. The story goes on from there, focussing mainly on Dr Gideon Mantell and Richard Owen and their rivalry to get their interprations and scientific ideas recognised. Readable, but yet another story of the establishment not being fair to "outsiders" (as in so many other stories of science).
