A series of essays of scientific analysis about the claims of the Intelligent Design movement.

For anyone interested in seeing some of the (nearest thing the ID movement get to) scientific claims that some kind of intelligent design was involved in creating the world. The introduction starts with a brief outline of how the ID movement started and a brief overview of what is to come in the following chapters.

The following chapters look the links between ID and science, theology and politics, then at various 'scientific' arguments that have been presented by the ID movement, including a fairly deep treatment of some of Dembski's more mathematical arguments (successfully debunking in all cases). Not always an easy read (it would depend on your background), but worth reading whichever bits you get on with for a more detailed discussion of the issues.
