A geometrical anthology

This book is a follow up to "Curious and Interesting Numbers". Of course, there is no numerical sequence to follow, so the layout is alphabetical. Again it can be recommended as a "dip into" book, and a short reference too. From Leonardo da Vinci's "proof" of Pythagoras' theorem to space filling Polyhedra, from Platonic solids to Henon attractors, from hyperbolic geometry to hypercubes, the book is both informative and educational, is entertaining, and contains a wealth of history and is an excellent companion to the "Book of Curious and Interesting Numbers" (also by David Wells).
